great-big-wide-open

Y’all. Just look at how great-big-wide-open our kitchen and living spaces are going to be.

Sure. There’s plastic and sheetrock dust everywhere right now, but with walls gone and so much natural light spanning from front to back of our house, we can finally breathe—figuratively speaking. Right now our lungs are filled with serious amounts of construction dust but you get what I’m saying here. Great. Big. Wide. Open.

Now are you ready to see the behind the scenes reality of the road to great-big-wide-open?

Like…where does all of your stuff go when the floors are being redone and your house looks like the victim of an indoor blizzard of sheetrock dust?

Wherever the heck you can stash it.

In the laundry room…

…and every other spare bedroom, closet and cabinet you can find. We are pretty much living in the aftermath of a kitchen reno tornado, but that’s the price you pay for great-big-wide-open if you are crazy enough to live in the house during the process. (Finger pointed at THIS girl.)
